INTRODUCTION
The Curriculum Development Centre (CDC) is one of the six academic centers of the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC). The centre is headed by a Director Dr. G. D. Gandu who is responsible to the Executive Secretary of the council for the day-to-day management of the centre.
MANDATE / FUNCTIONS / ACTIVITIES
The key functions of the Centre are to:
- Promote the development of curricula at all levels of the education system;
- Develop new techniques and approaches to curriculum development;
- Produce syllabuses and instructional materials;
- Carry out studies in comparative curriculum;
