DR Nkechinyere Adiele is a Director of Research with specialisation in language and linguistics, language in communication, curriculum and instructional material development and Reading. Dr Nkechi Adiele has over three decades of experience in language research, development and documentation, as well as applied linguistics, pedagogy, material development, reading, translation services. She garnered these experiences working under the Language Development Centre and other policy adhoc schedules in Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC). She has participated in research projects, served in different capacities as Resource Person and Co- ordinator in workshops on language and linguistics, curriculum, reading, teacher capacity building, and gender sensitivity and empowerment .she has attended and organized many local and international conferences, training, seminars and workshops. she has co-authored books and published several academic papers in both national and international journals.

Dr Adiele is a member of so many professional bodies such as; Linguistic Association of Nigeria (LAN), Reading Association of Nigeria (RAN), Curriculum Organization of Nigeria (CON), Forum for African women Educationists Nigeria (FAWEN), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) among others. Dr Adiele is married with children.
