The ES, who reminded the Committee that NERDC, as the think tank of the Nigeria Education sector, is supposed to be the flagship of all educational innovations in the country, urged members on the need to reposition themselves and the Council in order to deliver on the mandate.

In his closing remarks, the ES appreciated members for their contributions and doggedness to work, urging that they should ensure they remain motivated in carrying out their functions.

He further called on members to make positive inputs and bring up advice that will move the Council forward instead of peddling rumors that breed division. He informed members that he is ready to entertain informed advice and quality suggestions and not gossips.

He therefore challenged members to put in more efforts, work as a family and noted that “when people meet, the minds work together and better”. He also informed that the Committee shall be meeting every quarter of the year to review works done, while charting the way forward for Council’s academic activities.
