The Director General Services Profile
Arc. Sadiq Ibrahim Bashir is the Director of General Services Department of the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council. He oversees the Physical development and maintenance of buildings, plants and equipment of the Council. He also oversees the transport and store sections. He supervises the outsourced service contracts the Council enter into with private entities.
He obtained his first and second degree in Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Private Partnerships in Urban Environment from Federal University of Technology, Minna.
He is a professional member Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and also a chartered member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
He is passionate about research, environment and infrastructure for sustainable development.
